just finished my ofa 1 course with Stephen. he was really good! he made the class interesting and made us laugh. he was also able to give us a lot of information.
I signed up for their emergency responder program as Stephen spoke highly of it and im really excited! he helped me understand about having the certificate and going to get the license.

Took my Advanced Marine First Aid course with them and I was surprised with how much I enjoyed it. The instructor was able to answer almost every questions that he was asked and showed passion for teaching.
The manual was in rough shape, but had very good information and the workbook was helpful in preparing for the final exam.

I took my EMR at this company and thought it went well. We had 8 people in the EMR course and most passed our exams. We got in each day early to study before class and the company let us stay after class to practice when we asked. One guy in the class was complaining about too much stuff to learn but I don't think he would have been happy with anything. I was happy so I took the paramedic course they offer. Lots of work but overall I believe you get what you put into it. Just finished precepting and going to licensing soon for final exams. Never been to JI to compare this company to but our classes went well and I would recommend them.

This is the worst run school I have ever encountered. You are better off taking your money, driving to the Port Mann Bridge and throwing it off. You'll get more out of it. All they want is your money, they don't care if you meet the requirements or not. The teachers have very little to no experience on car. If you're a licensed, working EMR you'll probably have more experience than your instructor will. The owner is a downright rude power tripper. You will get treated like shit, be left outside waiting for the secretary to show up and open the doors in the morning, and get no extra time outside of class to practice. You'll find yourself breaking into the JIBC and using their equipment to practice. Oh and the owner also owns a kids camp and you will be asked to volunteer if your course is taking place close to summer time..and if you don't volunteer you will be told you are "lacking interest" and be put through hell to get a certificate. Thats just the tip of the iceberg people! Save your money, spend a little extra time and effort and apply to the JIBC!

I have taken lots of classes at many different places over my life and this one was by far the worse run and taught class I have ever been apart of. I couldn't be more unhappy about just wasting my time and feeling like they just wanted my money. Everything from the teachers to the owner were just completely rude and very un businesslike. I dont no what to say except DO NOT go here and spend the extra money to go anywhere else!!!! Trust me or you will regret it bigtime.
