Horrible engineer wood. I have had at least 7-8 repairs. Wood chips Cant walk on it or else u will dent the floor or scratch it

This flooring has been a nightmare.
We installed it throughout our home. The colour of the engineered boards was so variable it looked like different product.
When we complained they sent us a few new boxes but did NOT cover the cost of installation—the rep blamed the installer for not noticing the colour of the first boards. It was his mistake for installing them in the first place he said.
Note to Preverco: the installer is not your quality control. That should happen at the factory.
Now one year later, there are some splits and chips, even though we don’t wear shoes in the house and are very careful.
I expected better quality given the price we paid for this floor.

We've just installed Preverco in my second home and again, we love it.
This time Ash brushed Komodo and it is spectacular !!!

I think Preverco flooring was installed in my entire condo building and after 2 years I'm still very happy with it, my neighbours like their floor as well.

We have had our floors for 10 years and we have a major party twice per year with 60-80 people dancing and partying. This includes spills high heels and God know what else. Ages from 15-60 so lots of teens and twenty year olds (not always the most careful).
Every year people comment that our floors not only survived but look much newer than their age.
We have had 12 such parties that any one of which would destroy a floor. But not ours… You have had several new customers as a result of our parties.

My brother in-law recently purchased Preverco maple edge Chamonix and it's absolutely stunning, I wish I've waited with my laminate installation.

I bought the preverco hardwood floor along with the stairs nosing, thinking that products from the same manufacturer should match. There is a big discrepancies in the thickness. All we were told is to adjust to make it work. It is a tongue and groove fitting. There is so much discrepancies that if we adjust the thickness, we would lost the tongue and groove fitting mechanism, or it is very thin on one side that it would crack easily.
Very disappointed. Still trying to figure what to do with all the nosing waiting to be installed. Contacted the local Preverco rep. , not helpful at all.
After talking to the company and the local sales rep. , they claims that the stairs nosing, transitions.... were made to fit every brand of hardwood floor. They are not suppose to fit even their own company's products !
I was mislead by the local store that it would fit better, otherwise I won't have spend the extra money for the inferior products.
It was a totally waste of money. Cannot understand why they charge so much more for a inferior product. It is way cheaper to buy them local for the fitting and stain them.
Be aware and don't buy any accessories at all !!!

I stumbled across this site while trying to find the phone number of the store I purchased my Preverco from so I could purchase more Preverco yellow birch PreOil. I noticed some negative reviews and figured they could use postive one from a happy customer. I bought this floor from a local showroom Wholesale Flooring in Fall River, MA. After one year of heavy use in our new home I'm very impressed with its durablity. We purchased the 4" wide solid yellow birch and this floor is amazing and we have been able to repair scratches with the extra oil we purchased with our flooring. This product has even performed well in the kitchen. We installed this product ourselves and found that the milling is almost perfect, while a Bruce floor we installed in our old house a year earlier was like hell to install because of all the defective and warped boards. A+++++ for these guys.

There are a lot of complaints on this site but that's not surprising because people usually don't say anything unless they are unsatisfied.
I purchased Preverco Solidflex in Santa Fe for our previous house and it installed easily, looked beautiful and we never had any problems with cupping, moisture etc - even though we had a puppy who had accidents on it repeatedly. My husband did a DIY job but he made sure that he followed all the recommendations of the manufacturer and some other tips online. It was an old house with an impossibly un level floor and this product hugged every curve.
We're about to re-floor our current house and are again using Solidflex (in Red Oak) without hesitation. Prefinished floor is much more durable than any polyurethane or oil applied after installation so people who are saying otherwise don't know what they are talking about.

Installed maple Seychelles wave in my basement. It buckled over summer and in winter went normal. Realized humidity was making huge swing, put it cold air return close to ground has been perfect since. Even with humidity issue no damage. So installed on main level. Looks amazing, people rave how good it looks. Only wish they still made this colour still. I am going to do my upper level now. Will have to choose a different colour but it will be Preverco. Love it
