He’s been a practicing radiation oncologist for more than 30 years, and he’s internationally recognized as one of the developers of liver SBRT in patients with hepatic cirrhosis. His clinical research includes high-precision, respiratory gated SBRT, as well as intensity-modulated, image-guided radiation therapy (IG-IMRT) to maximize organ preservation during radiotherapy of various GI malignancies.
