Dr. Roshin Mathew received his medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans. He then completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Rochester. Dr. Mathew achieved his fellowship in advanced cardiovascular imaging from the University of Virginia… Dr. Roshin Mathew received his medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans. He then completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Rochester. Dr. Mathew achieved his fellowship in advanced cardiovascular imaging from the University of Virginia and his fellowship in cardiovascular diseases at Tulane University where he served as chief fellow. Dr. Mathew has published numerous scholarly articles in medical journals and is board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular diseases. He also has additional certifications in echocardiography and vascular interpretation (RPVI). He is a member of the American Heart Association, the American College of Cardiology, the American Medical Association, the Society of Cardiac Magnetic Resonance and the Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography. Dr. Mathew treats a wide spectrum of cardiovascular disease with a special focus in treatment and prevention of ischemic heart disease. He has a special interest in coronary microvascular dysfunction and ischemic heart disease. In his spare time, Dr. Mathew enjoys traveling, biking, football, and spending time with his family.
