It took my wife 4 times/4 days calling to advise she did NOT receive a phone call back as promised each day to get an IMPORTANT appt. - always an excuse. We were debating going to Urgent Care or ER. The 4th day I now had a burning sensation. She DEMANDED my catheter be removed THAT DAY. NO ONE in the office had bothered to check my record to see it had been left in for the FIFTH wk (supposed to be removed 4th!). it was our visiting homecare nurse who realized this & advised to get an appt ASAP which prompted our first call to AUI AND WE HAD BEEN TO AUI THAT MORNING! UNACCEPTABLE! (We were unaware of this 4 wk limit - are we supposed to go to medical school to find out this type of info? YOU PUT YOUR FAITH IN THE DOCS & NURSES WHOSE CARE YOU'RE UNDER, right?!) As a result I now have a bladder infection & was put on the largest dosage of a heavy antibiotic - I am 91-yrs-old. I pray it doesn't destroy my liver, a possible side effect. (We plan on speaking with AUI'S Office Manager and we have made an appt. with a different office/doctor; we just don't trust AUI.) AUI is owned by a CORPORATION; I guess we patients are just a $$$ number to them. I hope you get better care. PLEASE, BE YOUR OWN ADVOCATE with this group, follow up with them, and be insistant if you don't get what is promised - you MUST care for your OWN health!! GOOD LUCK.

Kristina Buscaino , was the provider today and had an excellent experience. She was incredibly welcoming from the start and made me feel at ease. Her exam was very thorough and detailed, and she made sure to ask if I had any additional questions or concerns. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Jay is truly the finest urologist in sight. I recently had a cystoscopy, and I walked in feeling embarrassed, afraid, and unsure of what to expect. The moment he entered the room with his warm smile, everything changed. His kindness immediately softened my fear.

As he prepared for the procedure, he gently distracted me by talking about how much he enjoyed his trip to Italy. While I listened, the camera and instrument were already being inserted, and I barely realized it. He guided me to look at the monitor, keeping my attention steady and my mind calm, even during the most sensitive moments.

His gentle manners, his ability to lessen pain, and the way he protects a patient’s dignity are truly commendable. I am deeply grateful that Dr. Jay is my doctor. He turned a frightening experience into one I could walk through with comfort and trust.
