I still don't understand the appeal of Popeye's chicken. We had one in my hometown and the service was pretty bad and the chicken mediocre. I've heard it varies in quality based on your location. Well, this location certainly wasn't an improvement. Not only did they short me an item in my order, they messed up a BASIC chicken sandwich by leaving off pickles. The chicken itself was juicy, but was more breading than chicken for half the sandwich. I try Popeye's in different locations hoping to find a good one, but this one sure isn't it. 1/5

Food is always delicious! Their fried chicken is the best! We were greeted with a smiling face and the gentleman patiently waited for us to make up our minds for what we wanted to order. We ate in the clean dining room with a pleasant atmosphere. A worker came to check on us which never happens in a fast food restaurant! This particular restaurant is must better than the one located on Empire, which we are closer to, but we will drive out of our way to come to this one!

I’m not one to leave negative reviews, but I think there was definitely something not working at this location tonight. I ordered ahead, using the app. 1 regular sandwich, 6 piece boneless wings and a small fry. I set the pickup time to asap, and then stopped at a couple other places before arriving to pick up up my order. I went through the drive-thru and gave them the order Name. After being instructed to pull up to the window, I was then told to drive around to park in the lot, just outside the door.

I parked at 6:02, as shown on the receipt. I know, because that’s when I texted my son to tell him I was waiting on the food. I went inside after 20 minutes, and found quite a few people who were starting to get impatient. More walked in and walked back out after seeing and hearing what was happening.

The first thing I heard was female employee behind the counter in a blue jacket, yelling “I’m overstimulated! There’s so many people!”, as she went back and forth many times. I noticed there were bags in the packing area. A few sat there for another 15 minutes. After 44 minutes, I realized that the bag I was finally handed was the one that had been sitting there the longest, constantly being overlooked. I could see on the order screen that there were no orders, but there was quite a lot of chicken in the holding area.

The employee who handed my bag to me whipped it around, slid it across the counter without turning towards me, and no apology for the wait or a “thank you, have a nice night”. Everyone else who was still waiting mostly door-dashers, says this restaurant is always this bad. My food was cold, but I chose to heat it up when I got home instead of waiting for who knows how much longer.

The employees seemed quite unprofessional. I’m not sure if there was a manager present, but there was no one trying to organize the chaos or provide any kind of customer service.

I waited 44 minutes. 6:02 to 6:46. If I hadn’t already paid for my food on the app, I would’ve left. I used the app to order ahead to save time.

The restaurant area was dirty and smelled badly of weed.

We ended up going through the drive-through. Emily’s customer service was top notch.

We were the only car, and we were told to pull forward to wait for food 🤔

The chicken wraps were lacking ingredients like lettuce and cheese and barely wrapped.
The chicken tenders were oddly shaped and poorly battered, but the taste was good.
The ghost pepper sandwich was surprisingly good, but there was no heat.
The fries were greasy but tasted good.
Reviewed the dipping sauces twice and there were none included and no napkins.

I recently stopped by this Popeyes location and had one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. The chicken was cooked perfectly—crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and served piping hot. It tasted exactly like the Popeyes I used to enjoy so much, and it really hit the spot.

The place itself was really clean, which made the experience even better. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. The young man who helped us was awesome—he made sure we had everything we needed and had a great attitude throughout our visit. Whoever is in the kitchen really knows what they’re doing because the quality of the chicken was top-notch.

Overall, I couldn’t have been happier with my visit. It’s not always easy to find a fast food place that gets everything right, but this Popeyes nailed it. I’ll definitely be coming back!
