I take full accountability for illegally parking my car. My car was double parked at a hotel that I am currently staying at for work purposes. I go outside and noticed that my car was not in the parking lot of the hotel so I called the towing company. I was told that it will be 175 to retrieve my vehicle. I show up to the establishment with the 175. Paid one of the workers and I was able to drive off with my car. when I arrivedback to the hotel, I noticed that my rocker panel on my driver side of my vehicle was not only scraped. It was bent and broken. I called back the establishment with my complaint, and whoever answered the phone told me to call back that there will be a manager there at 8 AM. Instead of me, calling back at 8 AM, I take it into my initiative and go to the autobody shop to see what the cost will be to fix the problem. I was quoted $925 to fix the issue. I then showed up to the establishment and the worker Jeremy was no help at all . He accused me of lying, saying that my vehicle was already damaged prior to them, towing it. I then told him no that his information is false because I have proof on my end on how my car looked. He refused to show me the photos of my vehicle of how it looked in his possession . He began to get aggressive with me, yelling at me, telling me to get off of his property. At this point I was scared for my life, and I called the authorities to see if they can solve the situation. Charleston PD was a little bit of help there advising me to go to small claims and to just sue the entire company.
