Used to come regularly for good prices and local produce. Something has definitely changed. Inflation, but also items all over the place, mislabeled, and 7 cartons in a row of broken eggs. Carts all over the parking lot but none at the door. Hopefully they’re just having a bad day, but not the same experience.

I couldn't find Snoop wine. So, and employee noticed me looking and offered to help. She informed me they don't sell that brand anymore. But, I informed her I was just using it to make a gravy for my steaks. I asked I'd she could recommend something similar and she did. It was very helpful and made my trip to the store go so quick and smoothly. The employee at self-check was very kind and helpful too.
I love Big Y also because they make an effort to buy locally and I truly appreciate that. I especially like to buy local honey, asparagus and Swaz potatoes. Its also easier to navigate this store...unlike "Lost & Shop", lol, I mean Stop & Shop. :)

For me personally, there has only been a choice of two grocery stores in this area since I can remember. I have found that Big Y seems to stock its stores with a better variety and quality of products that just happen to be less expensive, comparatively all the way around! My only complaint would be that they aren’t open later, but hopefully someday in the near future, they’ll be able to change that schedule even if it’s just two nights a week!

Had an awesome end to our quick popandshop at this Big Y because of Lilith and Dexter. Two amazing front end employees that made my framily's visit to the store worth it. Dexter was very kind and assured me of the extra moment I needed to find my pay card and Lilith, while still assisting Dexter - had a great conversation with us.

Please let them know how awesome they did and have done. Your location has earned a returning customer because of them both.

This Big Y has a true New England feel—warm, welcoming, and consistent all year round. My family and I were frequent shoppers here until I had to move, and it always felt like a comfortable, familiar place to run everyday errands.

They have great prices, a wide selection, and everything you need, but what really kept us coming back was the people. The staff were always kind, calm, and helpful, and those small interactions made a difference. My dad is an older disabled veteran and can be a bit grumpy, but even he appreciated the respectful, easygoing atmosphere here.

It’s one of those stores that feels like part of the community. Grateful for the good memories—God bless this place.
