Very nice Publix, I come here all the time whilst In the area. Helpful staff, this Publix in particular has 2 stories. You can see the upstairs rooms from the store below.

Went into Publix on 3rd Ave., South and 3rd St., South this morning to return some olive Oil.
I was returning it because we needed vegetable oil instead.
I did not want to return it, but my wife said it was money wasted because we do not use olive oil.
I went into customer service and told them that I had got the wrong oil and just wanted to return that and that I could not find the receipt. The lady at customer service proceeded to tell me she cannot take the oil back without a receipt. I told her that I could give her the card that I purchased it on.
She looks the card up and tells me that she Cannot see where that card was used. She then proceeded to tell me that I can go get something that amounts to the dollar amount of what the oil cost. I do not have time to shop at Publix in the morning. I was actually on my way to the boat. I asked her if she could just give a gift card if she couldn’t put it back on my original card and she said no.
I get home this evening and tell my wife what happened at Publix and she did not believe me. She thought I was saying that because I did not want to return it without the receipt. She proceeds to tell me that Publix will take anything back if you are not satisfied with it.
Well, my wife just got back from the very same Publix with a gift card that she spent in the store while she was there getting other stuff.
So my question is, does the clerk that was helping me assume that I had stolen the olive oil? My wife and I are in that store at least three or four times a week.
I am very disappointed with Publix.
Publix will lose the approximate $500 a month that we were spending there. We will not be shopping at Publix anymore.
I never really cared for that store much because of the fact that the homeless linger all out front and asked for money.

I come to this Publix regularly for our monthly cakes and all kinds of celebrations for work at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital; not just because it’s close, but because the staff here is truly exceptional. I have never had a negative experience, from the friendly security outside to the stocking staff, cashiers, and baggers; everyone is always kind, helpful, and professional.

I want to give a special shoutout to Meg in the bakery. When our Hough Family Institute for Brain Protection Sciences found out that our Neurology and Neurosurgery programs ranked so well with U.S. News & World Report, we wanted to celebrate our amazing team with cakes and cupcakes that matched the excitement of the moment. I had a very specific (and maybe a little extra!) vision in mind, and Meg brought it to life perfectly—five dozen brain cupcakes and two beautifully decorated cookie cakes in our hospital’s logo colors!

Everything was ready to go when I arrived that morning, and it was absolutely perfect. Meg and her team went above and beyond, and it made such a difference for our celebration.

I cannot thank this Publix enough for always coming through, not just with beautiful, delicious cakes, but with consistent kindness and incredible customer service. Every shopping trip here is a wonderful experience!

The store is neat and has many, many great products for decent prices.

There is self checkout, and the staff is also nice.

The parking lot is huge and fairly safe, with little shady spots to park.
