He then moved to Kansas City where he completed his internal medicine residency and hematology / oncology fellowship at the University of Kansas Health System. During his hematology and oncology fellowship, he served as chief fellow for two years. Dr. Work is an investigator involved in clinical research trials in the area of hematology and medical oncology. His clinical research focus includes head and neck cancers, brain and lung cancers.
