Within two years, Great Bridge Child Care expanded to be able to support 124 children serving the Great Bridge Primary school district. Recognizing the growth of the Great Bridge area, in 1985 Karen Colston opened a second location on Fentress Road serving the Butts Road Primary school district, supporting another 137 children.
