Melanie was thorough and informative. I left a little confused after my last appointment with her. She had made a statement that due to my age, guidelines recommended that I stop taking a medication. She then offered an alternative, but the alternative also had the same component as the other medication in which the guidelines were recommending aginst. When I asked why she was suggesting that medication because it also contained the same component, instead of explaining, she pivoted and offered another alternative and said that she was okay prescribing what I was currently taking if I wasn't having any issues, but to expect the same conversation next year. She explained the guidelines well and did answer all other questions. I appreciate her patience with my questions as I do tend to ask a lot of them.

Needed help with paperwork (FMLA & DR. Note) for severe crippling eczema. Had gotten somewhat better from dupixent prescribed by dermatologist that also wont help with (FMLA & DR, Note). She had basically told me that she will do this for me just this once, and that they will likely be reluctant to helping me with this paperwork in the future, but for in case of flare ups if they persist to happen as bad that i should find another line of work. Not exactly the best experience personally.

Melanie always asks questions and provides thoughtful responses that address needs while considering the individual’s experiences and circumstances. She is knowledgeable and shares information so that the patient is a partner in their health care. I recommend Melanie for anyone in the practice that she is part of.
