Today Chris, a Dryden Rona employee went out of his way to be kind and caring. I have a walking boot on my left foot. It is often very uncomfortable to have to get out of the car and walk from car into and around stores. I had been into the store to buy gravel which I had called about and been told there were 20 bags of. So i paid for two at the cash and was told to drive into the yard and pick them up.

I did that but when I got there there was no gravel. In fact, all the yard guys went in search of the gravel. In the end none was found. So that meant I was going to have to drive around to the front and once again get out of my vehicle, walk into the store to the cash register and then return to my car to get back in again. Chris, one of the yard employees, said he would like to help me out. He said he would meet me at the front and would take my debit card into the store to tap for the refund and bring me my paperwork. Which he did and for that I am forever grateful because my foot was very sore after the use I had already put it to. I really feel that Chris went way above and beyond and is an amazing credit to Rona. Thank you Chris for being such a really nice and caring person. You have just given Rona a big positive thumbs up! I will go back to Rona again thanks to this employee.

The project team at Rona are outstanding. Aaron in particular is very knowledgeable and helpful with my projects calculations and made some very good suggestions. We are rebuilding the community garden in Eagle Lake and Aaron helped us with the materials list. He was friendly and smiled a lot while assisting me. It’s nice to get great service these days. Helpful customer service is harder and harder to find. The guys in the lumber yard went out of their way to show me all the different options for our build and explain the pros and cons. We are rebuilding 16 garden beds for the first phase of this project. It’s so nice to get help with this important project and movement towards a healthier community. Chi Miigwetch Aaron

Nasty staff, just rude! I need 3' of trim and found a length I liked and went to the checkout to ask the cashier if it was sold by the foot, he said yes and asked how much i had. I told him I would like 3'. Some woman yelled at me saying I had much more then 3'. I said yes I would like to purchase 3', she then scolded me about me having to buy the full length, and only the 14'ers can be sold at half length. I put back my items where i found them and left. I will spend my money down the street.

Really clean store with an excellent selection of tools and home stuff. Garden center is open in the winter too. Staff were extremely helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Would 10/10 recommend this place!
