We love costal kids southwest! Dr. Shah, NP Kat, and NP Stacey are all sooo amazing. They treat our girl with so much love. All the office girls & medical assistants are always so nice as well!!!

They had been good so far but at the 15 month check in for my son they turned my wife away for being 10 minutes late to the appointment. After she had called beforehand to let them know she may be up to 15 minutes late and they told her to come in still.

I get keeping schedules but why tell her she would be fine and then turn her away. Now she had to go through the stress of getting the kid ready and driving out there along with the cost of gas for no benefit. Seriously considering changing doctors now.

Coastal Kids is the best pediatric doctors office in town. The office is super clean and I can always get an appointment for my child as soon as I need it. Their physicians and PAs are both excellent and they always take their time during my appointment to answer my questions in a way I can understand which I really appreciate. Dr Barracos has been excellent and I would recommend him to all my friends and family.

We feel so blessed to have found Coastal Kids. We moved to Bakersfield in September and my daughter (almost 5) has had multiple peds before Kat. As a mom, I am so grateful for Kat and how she treats my daughter- like she is a smart, kind person, with lots to say and Kat is always so patient and listens to whatever my daughter shares. She not only treats her promptly and completely, but she heals the whole person. My daughter loves to come see Kat and her confidence and joy gets stronger every time we visit. We love you Kat. Thanks for taking such good care of us.

​My family has had such a positive experience at this medical office. The friendly and polite front desk staff sets a welcoming tone the moment you walk in. What truly stands out, though, is how amazing the doctors and nurses are. They consistently take their time, explaining every procedure and step clearly and calmly. I've never felt rushed or unheard during our visits. If you're looking for a caring and patient team for your kids, this is the place to go.
