placed an order online 9/24 and did a curbside pickup. it was a kids meal for my kid, fettuccine with a side of broccoli. after eating some of the broccoli we noticed something in it. there was larvae in it. I called the restaurant and spoke to two different people before I was transferred to a manager.

the manager said the broccoli comes with gralic, that it's probably just garlic. told her I was very sure it is not garlic. she asked if we could take the food in because they would like to take a look at it, I told her we had already trashed it. she then said that she'll "take my word for it and give me a refund". she also mentioned that its produce and sometimes that happens. which, sorry but no.

to be completely honest I wasnt worried about the $12 we spent on the food but I obviously appreciate that she offered to give me a refund. However, the tone in which the manager spoke to me seemed almost accusatory. I wasnt trying to be difficult. If I were a manager at a restaurant, i'd like for it to be brought to my attention that the food we are serving has insects in it. I would have been content with a simple apology, but the insinuation that I was lying about the stituation left a bitter tatse in my mouth. It was almost like "here, damn".

We got a lot of things right on this visit.
The food was super good. The service was awsome. Lovely amile and great attitude, Elvie....

The employees are very nice.

They have a special gluten-free menu. It doesn't show all the drinks they have, though, only the smoothies for some reason. I had go on google maps to see their other drinks. I got the peach smoothie and it was delicious.

We got most of the things on the gluten-free menu and they were delicious. They even had gluten-free pasta. We got soup, salad, pasta, and chicken parmagiana.

The place is fancy inside and has nice jazz music on the speakers.

Took my mom for her 85th birthday, we had a wonderful time! The server was amazing and we so appreciated our exceptional hospitality… it really made this visit special! We enjoyed appetizers, soup and salad lunch with breadsticks. We rounded the meal out with never ending dipping sauce and a drink. Thanks for making mom’s birthday great!
