As a provider, she strives to work with patients on shared goals of reducing seizure burden, achieving independence and improving quality of life. Her hope is that patients will leave each appointment feeling as though she has listened to them, advocated for them and respected their decisions. Dr. Decker performs a number of specialized procedures, including interpretation of EEG, RNS and VNS as well as other neurophysiologic modalities. Her research interests include population health and epidemiology, women’s health in epilepsy, healthcare disparities in epilepsy and neuromodulation in epilepsy.
