I tried to exchange a defective product and Marissa, the experience manager, was rude, dismissive, and refused to make it right. I understand there's a time limit on returns for products you don't like; I was asking for an even exchange of a product that didn't work and was still being sold in store, easy peasy. The original sales associate (no name tag) was very nice and immediately offered to exchange, but Marissa got involved and wouldn't let her. Pro tip: telling a customer they are a "bother" and should just buy the same product again if the first one is defective is not good customer service. Looks like I'm a Sephora gal now!

One of the most frustrating shopping experiences I’ve had at Ulta. I drove out of my way because the website said the perfume was in stock. I stood in the fragrance section for 10 to 12 minutes with no one helping. I had to go back to the front to ask for assistance. After even more waiting, I was told they didn’t actually have it. No real effort was made, like “Are you sure” was their solution. Total waste of time and gas. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU DONT GO TO THIS LOCATION!!!!

This review is about the salon. My stylist was nice, this is not a reflection of her. What kind of a salon charges extra for a blow dry? I booked a curly cut, which was hardly even a curly cut. I’ve had plenty of curly cuts in my time. I could have had this done at sports clips. At least at sports clips, I would have left with dry hair. To make matters worse, when reviewing the curly cut service on the online booking platform after I paid $62, it explicitly states that you get a style and dry. I believe this is a reflection of this specific Ulta salon. I will not return to this ulta for products or any further services.

2 workers starred at me without speaking upon entrance. Im cute so... I spoke and brushed it out but Definitely found it rude. I then purchased chanel perfume and 3 expensive lipsticks and all of a sudden the customer service kicked in....I usually purchase my fragrances from Neimans but needed to get some things pretty quickly. I won't return to that location.

I've had multiple issues with this location, which is sad because this is the closest location that offers the most diverse stock. I went to pick up an order my sister placed and she listed me as the designated pickup person. I received the email and I went to pick up a bit later.

I picked a couple items for myself and went to check out the minis by the register. I made sure there was no one trying to check out, as to not hold up a line. I was looking at the minis and pointing stuff out to my boyfriend, and one of the cashiers at the counter gave us a look. When I was ready to check out, I put in my sister's phone number (because I don't shop at Ulta enough to warrant an account), and I mentioned that I had a pickup order under her name and that this was my first time picking up at Ulta. The cashier told me that we could process the pickup once we finished the transaction, which made sense, no big deal. She told me to get an ID out while she processed the order, so I got out my driver's license and waited for her to come back, because that's usually the case at every single retail establishment I go to. She called me over from a separate area asking if I had my ID in a frustrated tone. I said I did, and she told me to come up to the pickup area in a condescending tone. She never told me to move to the other counter or anything of the like. I apologized and told her that I do not shop at Ulta often. She then reviewed the order, but because of the time, the sun was in my eyes and I couldn't see the state of the items, nor do I know anything about makeup.

I didn't touch the items at all until I handed them over to my sister, and she told me that one of the products was unsealed and looked like it had been used.

This is disappointing and unhygienic on Ulta's part, and I would like to again point out that I have only ever had issues at this specific location. The Ulta in Fort Worth and Alliance are very nice and the staff are kind and helpful, nothing like this location. The staff at this location are unhelpful at best, and downright awful at worst. I'm not asking for a red carpet, but please don't give customers an unsealed and damaged product.
