I almost didn't book with Rocky Movers because of some of the reviews I read online, but I'm glad I made my own decision. My experience was professional from start to finish. The office staff answered all of my questions, the movers showed up on time, and everything was handled carefully. The pricing and process were explained clearly, and there were no surprises because I made sure my inventory list was accurate.

Reading some of the complaints afterward, I wonder if part of the issue comes down to expectations or incomplete inventory information. Moving quotes are based on the items being moved, so if the actual shipment takes up more space than originally listed, it makes sense that the final cost could be different. Rocky Movers was upfront about that from the beginning. Moving is rarely perfect, and every move is different, but based on my experience, the company delivered exactly what they promised. The crew worked hard, communicated well, and got my belongings to my new home safely.

I would definitely use Rocky Movers again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to friends and family.

After reading some of the negative reviews, I was honestly a little hesitant, but my experience with Rocky Movers was completely different. From the initial quote to delivery, the team was professional, responsive, and transparent about the process. One thing I think people sometimes overlook is that moving estimates are only as accurate as the inventory provided. If additional items are added later or measurements aren't accurate, it's understandable that the final cost or space requirements may change.

In my case, everything was explained upfront, and there were no surprises. The movers worked hard, treated my belongings with care, and kept me updated throughout the move. Moving is stressful, but Rocky Movers made the process much smoother than I expected. I can't speak for every situation, but based on my experience, I would absolutely use Rocky Movers again and recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable moving company.

We hired Rocky Movers for our commercial office relocation, and while the moving crew (Tomas, Baluino, Isaias, Luis) themselves were friendly, professional, courteous, and incredibly efficient, the overall experience was disappointing due to the office's communication and follow-through.

Prior to the move, we provided our building's COI requirements weeks in advance. Unfortunately, they weren't reviewed carefully, which nearly jeopardized our scheduled move. We didn't learn until the last minute that required coverages were missing, creating unnecessary stress just days before moving. Fortunately, our property manager granted an exception, or we would have been forced to find another mover at the last minute.

There were also communication issues with billing. Our original deposit was refunded and then charged again for a different amount without any explanation. A simple email or phone call would have avoided the confusion.

The moving crew worked hard and completed the move efficiently, but after unpacking we discovered several items that were damaged during the move, including:

Scratched ping-pong table
Several broken lumbar supports on our office chairs
Broken arm on an office chair
Torn chair upholstery
Wobbly standing desk
Dented air fryer

I documented the damage on the move checklist before the crew left, provided photos and video, spoke with the office on July 8, and was told I would receive a follow-up the next day. After hearing nothing, I sent another follow-up email on July 13. As of today, I still have not received a phone call or email regarding the claim.

The moving crew earned high marks for their professionalism and work ethic. Unfortunately, customer service doesn't end when the truck leaves. Communication, accountability, and follow-through after the move are just as important, and that's where this experience fell short of expectations. Had the office communicated proactively, addressed the insurance requirements up front, and followed through after the move, this would have been a five-star review. Instead, the lack of responsiveness overshadowed what was otherwise a hardworking moving crew.

We are so happy that we chose Rocky Movers for our long distance move. Everyone was so professional. Dawn came out to our home to give us an estimate and we could tell that our things would be taken care of by how she took time to explain everything in detail. The guys showed up on time on moving day, Pabel, Alex, and Miguel, and worked as a true team, each carefully carrying our items to the truck. Thank you Rocky Movers for a stress free moving day!!!

Rocky Movers was outstanding in every respect for a long-distance move to Philadelphia. Professional, courteous crews and everything arrived in perfect condition. And their price was fair and reasonable. Their back office is highly responsive.

The initial planning, communication, and pick up was flawless. I hired Rocky Movers to move my stuff from Denver to Seattle. It’s very nice that they offer a free month of storage in Denver.

Very young boys wrapped my furniture and I was told some of it arrived broken because they had wrapped it too tight.

They also lost (or someone stole) my brand new in the box paddle board. I was told they did not believe me that it was new, so they’d offer me half of the value. I’ve been waiting since October for a check for the reimbursement of my paddle board. I’ve check in with the man who delivered my stuff at least 3 times about it and he says he’ll “look into it” and I hear nothing. I really wanted to like this company, it’s so hard to find good movers, but they have shown me they are not responsible for their end of the agreements that we all sign.

As many moves can be, ours was complicated. We were trying to sell and buy a house right around Christmas and knew we needed to get a move scheduled quickly due to the holidays. However, with neither transaction being final it was hard to pinpoint an exact date. Joe with Rocky Movers walked me through some options, Barry did a FaceTime tour of the house to create an estimate, and we set a tentative window. Once the transactions were complete, Joe got the date finalized. The movers who arrived at our house were incredibly efficient and professional. Job foreman Martin and his assistant loaded the entire household contents on a 26-foot truck within four hours. They handled our belongings with care. That same care was used two days later when Martin and another assistant arrived to unload the belongings. We were very pleased with the overall communication from the beginning to the end of the process and with the attention shown to ensuring a successful move during the middle of the holiday season.

We just received our stuff in Dallas and it all arrived intact. They did an excellent job moving our belo gings from Denver. No surprise or hidden fees. Highly recommend if you're moving to another state!

Hired them to move states and it went pretty poorly. They took a long time, were not responsive, and a bunch of stuff was missing when the majority finally was delivered. It's been hard to get a hold of anybody and find out if they're even looking for the missing stuff.

They told me when I first hired them that they're a mom and pop business and don't use contractors. Absolutely not true. The people who delivered my furniture were an entirely different company and communication seems pretty poor between them and Rocky Movers. There were times I called Rocky Movers to find out the status of my delivery and they couldn't get ahold of the contractors to find out.

I hired Rocky Movers because they were the lowest price I was quoted. The value of the stuff they lost more than made up for the price gap. I wish I had just spent the money on a better moving service instead.

TLDR: WARNING do not use Rocky Movers if you are moving out of state. Not only will I not use this company again, I will warn others not to use them either.

The part that was done in Denver (our point of origin) was fantastic and I would have left a 5 star review if it wasn’t for the nightmare with receiving and unloading at our destination. Initial pack up was great. A crew of 5 guys wrapped furniture and loaded our boxes onto the truck (we did the actual packing of boxes ourselves prior to the move). The entire crew arrived on time, were courteous, and seemed to be extra-careful about respecting our furniture and our home. I hesitate to say too many good things because the great experience at the start led me to believe our stuff was in good hands and would be treated well during the entire process. It wasn’t.

When the time came for our belongings to be delivered, our morning delivery slot ultimately became the driver showing up around 6 pm. Then, while we waited for his ONE helper to arrive, he made us pay and sign all the paperwork (saying it was company policy) before he would unload—the same paperwork that states you are only supposed to sign AFTER you confirm all items are received and in good condition. Then he tried to talk us into not checking the inventory against the boxes to make sure everything had arrived.

These 2 guys unloaded in 4 hours what it took an entire crew of 5 around 6-7 hours to load, and they did it with little to no respect paid to our furniture or our house. They literally ran down the ramp with hand-trucks stacked 5 or 6 boxes high (fragile items on the bottom). Wheeled the hand-truck directly over new floors with no protective coverings. Dropped our boxes on the ground and on one another. Carried oversized items by themselves and hit walls and floors. Slid things instead of picking them up. By the time the truck was unloaded it was 10:00 pm. I chose not to have them reassemble several items because I didn’t trust them to touch some of our more expensive or complicated multiple-piece furniture beyond putting legs on couches and chairs to make sure all the legs were there.

I never want to go through an experience like that again. My trust in Rocky Movers has been completely broken. So yeah. Use at your own risk.
