This was an exceptional find and the Inn at Sunrise Point delivered on all points. It is a beautiful location and our room was spacious and well appointed. The level of service provided by the staff was wonderful and everyone we encounted was pleasant and so helpful with our questions. The breakfast that was provided daily and part of your stay was delicious and set in a beautiful room that just added to the experience. Thank you for making our first visit to the Inn at Sunrise Point so amazing and I hope to return in the future.

MJ and Matt have created a magical escape for the perfect setting for all of life’s special celebrations! We stayed at the Longfellow room and loved the space. The property is immaculate and Matt’s breakfast is incredibly delicious and well thought out. Mary (and her pup Frederick) are wonderful greeters and made sure we had everything we needed. MJ and Matt are exemplary hosts, and the Inn is first rate in every way. Breakfasts offer several options, and each one was as beatifully presented as it was delicious. Our room was magically straightened every time we left it, even during breakfast. Rooms are tasteful and very comfortable, and the bathrooms are perfect. With lovely original art, fresh flowers from the nearby garden, homemade cookies every afternoon, and clever tips on local options, this is the place we want to return to each year.

Our stay was glorious!
The service of a large 5 star hotel with the charm and family atmosphere of a bed and breakfast. We could not have asked for anything more.
The 5 star breakfast is the best I have ever had and Matt and MJ made us feel like family. The homemade cookies every afternoon was a special treat
We are already discussing our next trip to the Inn.
We highly recommend this upscale and spectacular Inn to anyone traveling to this area of Maine.

We celebrated our 45th anniversary at the Inn at Sunrise and thoroughly enjoyed it! It’s such a lovely and well appointed Inn on the most beautiful waterfront grounds. The owners, MJ and Matt, along with Mary and the entire staff, were warm and welcoming. You owe it to yourself to stay here and to ask MJ for excursion ideas! We followed her advice and experienced the best of what this beautiful area provided! The breakfasts were all very filling, delicious and beautifully presented. MJ’s flowers filled the beautiful rooms daily. We enjoyed the fireplaces, the solarium area, the porch, the library/living room with full honor bar, and our lovely guest room with fireplace and full balcony overlooking the water. Just a gorgeous spot! The Inn is spotlessly clean, linens were luxurious and afternoon cookies were delicious! This is a special spot with very special people! Don’t miss it!
