Mr. Friedman, along with senior partner Alfred Jones, organized and expanded the company over 33 years. In 1980 the Shepherd family of Atlanta, GA purchased Seaboard Construction and integrated it with Plant Improvement Company, Inc. Well-established with proven quality and reliability, Seaboard Construction continued to develop a strong presence in Southeast Georgia under the direction of the Shepherds, whose prior company built most of I-95 in Georgia.
