He completed his residency in Greenville, South Carolina in the Prisma Health System training in both Pediatrics and Internal Medicine and is board certified in both fields. He has a passion for primary care and loves developing relationships with patients and families from a diverse range of backgrounds. Dr. Burgess is also a member of the clinical faculty at the USC School of Medicine – Greenville and he considers it a privilege and honor to teach medical students.
