She moved to South Carolina to attend Furman University for her undergraduate degree and then made her way to North Carolina for medical school at Wake Forest University School of Medicine. She came back to Greenville in 2003 and completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency with the Greenville Hospital System in 2007 before joining Piedmont OB/GYN in 2007. She completed robotic surgical training in 2010 and receiving board certification in Minimally Invasive Gynecology in 2021. Her special interests include general and high risk obstetrics, preconceptual counseling, adolescent medicine, first gynecologic exams, preventive medicine, and minimally invasive laparoscopic and robotic surgery with a special interest in minimally invasive myomectomy.
