Negative employees will not be back. Some people would love to have a job. I wasn’t greeted, acknowledged and left by raising my voice to say “you have a customer in the store”. It was only then I was acknowledged after hearing all the complaints from your staff about their jobs. I planned on buying quite a bit from your store I left. Check your camera footage.

I have shopped with CATO for years however only the Harrisonburg location for about 2 years. The staff attitude has really declined. I was in the store for over 30 minutes and not one of the 3 spoke to me. I did not purchase anything and will probably shop online from now on.

Staff here sucks. They are extremely pushy when it comes to closing time. They have awful manners. Asking my girlfriend if she needed help multiple times as i stood there telling them that she was trying on clothes. They like to whisper little comments between one another. I dont know what it is with the little brunette in this store but she needs to straighten out her face.

My mother was shopping here one evening back in 2018....the store staff felt the need to ask her about every 5-10 minutes did she need help finding something. Then asked if they could hold her purse for her while she shopped. None of the other customers in the store received this level of "customer service" in which led us to the conclusion that it must have been a "shopping while black" experience . We still made our purchases and had an almost 30min argument with the store staff including a member of their management about their conduct and customer relations techniques. We never shopped thereafter and never will.
