I purchased a package of Mövenpick Espresso coffee, produced by Nador. I don't know how this product compares to the Swiss original, but it certainly isn't worth buying in its Canadian incarnation. The grind is nowhere near fine enough for making espresso. I have a manual press machine, and when I poured the water in the top, the water ran through the grinds almost immediately. It took only a couple of seconds to run the water through, with no resistance. It normally takes about 20 seconds with lots of pressure to achieve the same thing with a normal espresso grind.

The coffee is very dark, and has a strong bitter flavour. Not the "rich aroma" promised on the package. The brew is also lacking in body. A cup of espresso should have a nice mouthfeel from the dissolved solids. Not this stuff.

Finally, after reading the package carefully, I realised that this product is a blend of arabica and robusta beans. Mövenpick's own website says they use only arabica beans. So here we have product outsourced to a company for foreign distribution that is a poor imitation of the original. Don't buy it. You can get better.
