I hired Terry Ducksworth of Ducksworth Concrete and Construction in Hattiesburg, MS to frame and pour a driveway. He cashed the down payment check three months ago and never returned to do the work. Made up dozens of excuses and lies. It appears he makes a habit of taking people's money and not doing the work.
Also of note:
-He didn't appear to have any knowledge of how to build a frame.
-The frame for a walkway that was supposed to be 36 inches wide varied in width from 34 inches to 49 inches wide
-The frame for a driveway that was supposed to be 18 feet wide varied from 14 feet 4 inches at the narrowest point to 15 feet 8 inches at the widest point. The frame was also constructed crooked and in the wrong spot.
-Showed up with four guys, but only one hammer and no nails (I had to give him mine).
-One of his helpers smoked a blunt in my front yard.
I highly recommend you AVOID dealing with Ducksworth Concrete and Construction aka Terry Ducksworth aka Stephanie Ducksworth.
