I would NOT recommend Preferred Home Services. I paid this company $2,600 for modifications to my AC system that I did not need. CHECK THE BBB COMPLAINTS BEFORE YOU HIRE THEM!

My evaporator coil had already been replaced less than two years ago by another HVAC company, and the necessary modifications were completed at that time. Despite this, Preferred Home Services charged me another $2,600 for “modifications” when replacing the evaporator coil again.

The worst part is that after paying $2,600, my AC STILL did not work. Another HVAC company came out afterward and determined that Preferred had misdiagnosed the problem.

Meanwhile, my home was reaching approximately 85 degrees with a newborn baby in the house, and I had to purchase fans just to make the temperature more tolerable.

I made numerous calls and sent multiple emails trying to get this resolved. I even spoke with Brittany, the so-called manager, and still did not receive a proper resolution. The lack of accountability, communication, and concern after taking $2,600 from me was unacceptable.

I paid $2,600 for modifications that had already been done, and they didn’t even fix the actual problem with my AC. I feel completely taken advantage of by this company.

Please get a second opinion before agreeing to expensive work from Preferred Home Services.

Brittany, Matt and Anthony were all very helpful! I had to unexpectedly repair a 13 year old AC system. The pricing they provided to replace both the AC and furnace were too good to pass up. Matt was very helpful on the front end helping me to understand my options and on the back end when he came to do the post-install inspection. Brittany answered a million questions. Anthony addressed concerns. I'm very happy and look forward to continuing the professional relationship with my twice annual maintenance plan.

We had a great experience with Preferred Home Services to install two HVAC units in a single day. The crew laid down coverings to keep the inside of our home clean and honored our request to wear shoe coverings while inside the home. Perfect timing with summer just around the corner. I had a home warranty. When my ac went out, the warranty company sent Preferred Home Services. The technician came out and because of the age of the unit, he wrote out a recommendation that would cost us over 1000.00 rather than the 75.00 service fee. He called someone who I assume was not Preferred home service to come out and install a new unit. We declined and called another company who said that the only thing wrong was a faulty capacitor, which cost about 30.00. This was April 8, 2024. He was the prime example of a Snake Oil Salesman. The repair end up costing us 130.00. I did not report him to the company for fear of retaliation.
