I love Derek Alexander bags; I have at least eight, have been buying them for years. Recently a leather loop on a bag I bought a year ago broke and so, because I remembered they were guaranteed for workmanship, I set out to get it repaired. Finding the company was a challenge! They do not have a website. A friend and I looked through dozens of their bags in department stores and finally came across one that had an 800 number. When I called they were very friendly and hassle-free. I sent it to them and had it back, repaired, within a couple of weeks. I would give them 5 stars for quality and for respecting their guarantee, but have to knock off one star for poor accessibility. Finding them took hours of my time. I was told they're developing a website -- okay, but they don't even publish a customer service email address, and most of their bags don't have the 800 number. Too bad, because they have wonderful products and otherwise good service.
