I waltzed in today to buy a bath plug. Last night, I accidentally stabbed my former bath plug with a butter knife while trying to remove it. Anyways, I came into this small quincallerie de quartier looking lost as a puppy, but an employee offered help and guided me to the bath plug section. Lots of choice. I got what I needed!

A nice Little Local Hardware Store, Small but has a lot of the Basic's as well as Must Have Air Conditioners for the Hot Montreal Summers! 2021 & in 2023 an Awesome Halloween Window Display!

This Rona receives way too much hate. It's a very small store with limited products. I find that everything they sell really caters well to the demographics. Sure, it's not the best for major renovation supplies, but they have all the essentials. Every time I go, they have whatever it is that I'm looking for. The staff is friendly and helpful, too. If they don't know the answer to something, they'll try their best to find it for you.

First and Last time at this Rona. I will go to the one on rue Ontario, for true service.

I called this store for 1 bag of 50lb. ciment, woman on phone said there were several in the store. I asked if she could put one aside, I would be there soon. She said No. I asked about parking in the area, she said it's
difficult.
I drove to the store, had parking right in front. Went inside and was told they sold all of the them.

From my car, I called the Rona on rue Ontario, explained that I needed 1 bag, the lady kindly said she'd put one aside for me.
I arrived 15 minutes later, the bag was at the cash for me. Excellent service at Rona on rue Ontario.👍

The worse service I ever received from a hardware store.

I ordered an item and an appliance from this store. However, the item was not delivered so we couldn't proceed with the installation. I called the store to ask about the item and the receptionist said he would check and call me back within 20 minutes. He didn't call back at all. I called back again after 1 hour and someone else told me to send an email. I sent an email and I didn't receive any acknowledgement nor a phone call. So I called back again. Not only that I did not receive an apology because of their mistake, the staff spoke to me in a very impatient and impolite tone that I must wait for her to check.

Later on, she sent me an email about delivering the item the next day. Then the delivery date was changed for two time. I called them back and someone else told me he was not sure if they have our item. He would check and call me back in 5 mins. He never called back. I called back and was told to be patient and wait. After a few phone calls, he couldn't give me an answer when the item could be delivered.

The worst part is that they are not honest with their delivery and did not provide an apology for their mistake. Given the amount we paid for the appliance, I find their service unacceptable and unprofessional.
