Since the new owners took over. scheduling seems to be a nightmare. I scheduled a haircut and was given a 3 hour wait. No problem, scheduled my day to it.
I showed up 10 minutes early only to be told it would be another 1.5 hours. It was mentioned from front desk that the new owners pushing walk ins above scheduled times online.
This would all have been fine to me if they were running behind if I was given a heads up instead of me showing up 10 minutes early after driving 30 minutes for my scheduled appointment only to burn more of my day.
Don't book appointments online is what I would say.
That all said, once their services begin they are awesome. All the hairdressers/barbers are amazing. Seems like a new management/ownership issue.

Recently moved from Langley to Chilliwack and always had amazing experiences at the North Langley location so decided to try the Chilliwack location.
Got a haircut last week and thought it was good. Few days later my wife noticed the neck line was crooked (picture with hat). Went back in and they were very understanding but sent me to the same barber.
Looks like they just cleaned up the neck again and followed the old crooked line they made the last time.
Although the fix up was at no charge I'm left with the same result. Luckily my work takes me to Langley so I'll keep giving my patronage there.

Will be searching for a new barber for my husband and boys after this experience.
I booked my son’s appointment online and was given a 44-minute wait time, which was completely fine. We then received a text confirming his appointment. We arrived minutes before his scheduled appointment time, only to be told that they could not accommodate him and that we would have to leave.
What makes this especially frustrating is the complete lack of communication. If there was an issue with staffing, scheduling, availability, or anything else, a simple phone call or text saying, “We need to reschedule your appointment” would have been appreciated. Instead, we made the trip, arrived on time, and were turned away despite having a confirmed appointment.
My husband and boys have been going to Tommy Gun’s for quite some time, which makes this even more disappointing. Things happen, but how a business handles those situations matters. Confirming an appointment and then turning a customer away without any prior communication is not acceptable customer service.
We won’t be wasting our time booking here again.

Tommy guns online booking apparently doesnt give the customer the same information as the staff in the store. This is a repeat issue.
Even if I book my haircut with a specific barber they try to pass me to "who every available " in store, I dont want who ever is available, otherwise id go somewhere else.
Talented staff, good people, but the management and system has ruined coming here for me.
I dont feel that my time is valued going here anymore even though paying a premium for a hair cut.
Ive found a different barber shop, its not you its me. No wait, its you.

I have been a loyal customer at the Chilliwack Tommy Gun’s for 10–12 years, but after my experience today, I’ll be looking for a new barbershop.
I arrived at 8:45 AM, a full 15 minutes before opening, to ensure I was first in line. No other customers were there. At 8:58 AM, the hostess came out to inform me that because of online bookings at 9:00 AM, the earliest they could check me in for was 9:30 AM. Annoyed but cooperative, I took the 9:30 slot and left to run an errand.
I came back early at 9:10 AM. While waiting, 2–3 more customers showed up. Then, a gentleman who arrived after me—and who originally had a 25–30 minute wait time listed—was called back ahead of me.
When I questioned the hostess, she claimed that the barber had specific appointments, even though I had explicitly selected "first available" for my booking. To top it off, more barbers didn't even roll in until around 9:35 AM.
While the actual haircut was very good, the abysmal communication, poor scheduling management, and complete lack of customer service totally ruined my morning. After a decade of loyalty, it's clear the system or the service here has gone downhill.
