I've been a member here for almost ten years and I keep going to this gym because it has excellent equipment and is affordable. All of the negative reviews of customer service are somewhat founded but most gyms suffer from similar symptoms. I've tried most of the other gyms in the city and this is the best one in my opinion

I had an issue with mawson pulling my PAD out went nsf twice then they tried a 3rd and 4th pull for their own nsf fees ended up with 200 in nsf fees from bank PLUS 9 dollars in late charges plus 29 in nsf from mawson. When I went to ask for my contract to show these procedures outlined the manager was EXTEEMELY rude laughing at me saying she can't find me the contract today and that this is just how the procedure works. Extremely poor customer service and I have worked in customer service for over 8 years. I handed in my cancellation. Which I know takes 30 days to process which is also ridiculous as I have been a month to month customer for over 5 years now. Worst customer service never going back to mawson!

The present cancellation procedure is ridiculous!! If you can take out a membership and sign up at the location, you should be able to go back and provide ID and cancell in person. Beware when you join!!!!!! Financial circumstances can change where you can no longer afford even a registered letter!

Since they change in ownership Mawson has really gone down hill. I have been a loyal member for the past 5 years and their customer service is almost non existent. I also requested to speak to someone regarding their cancellation policy as I have to temporarily move out of town for 1 year then I was planning on rejoining. I was informed that everything is done outside of the gym and I would have to send registered mail to their office in Regina. I also attempted to contact the office by phone and email which they said would be fine if I had any questions. After several messages they have not given me a response. This gym does not care about its members at all, they only care about getting your money every month!

I had a baby and needed help losing all the baby weight and Trevor and his team at Mawson fitness helped me get back into the shape I was before giving birth. If you need a great fitness center in Saskatoon check them out.
