I don’t normally write reviews, but I have to call out incredible service when I experience it. We went to City Mattress during the Labor Day sale and ended up working with Joe, the store manager.

He was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and informative without ever being pushy or overly salesy. We had a general idea of what we wanted, and he took the time to show us all of our options and answer every question we had. We even tried one of the highest-end models just for comparison because, really, how often do you get to lie on a $15,000 bed? 😂

We came in hoping to find a really good deal, and Joe also showed us some clearance options for the PranaSleep model we liked. We ended up finding exactly what we wanted and ultimately purchased it.

There are also a lot of little extras to consider when buying a new bed, like pillows and mattress protectors, and I’m normally very skeptical of the add-ons. In this case, the pricing was genuinely good and we never felt pressured into anything.

By the end, we felt like Joe had helped us get an amazing deal, and we saved quite a bit even compared with City Mattress’s advertised Labor Day pricing. Best of all, we got the exact mattresses we wanted along with a split adjustable base so we can each control our side independently, which I think is going to be a game changer for our sleep.

Huge kudos to Joe for making what could have been an overwhelming purchase really easy. We left feeling great about both what we bought and what we paid.

From start to finish, Sebastian made the entire experience completely painless. I never felt pressured into buying anything, and he was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and personable throughout the process. One thing that really stood out was how genuine he was. While I was filling out my financing information, we had such a great conversation. At a lot of retail stores, it can feel like the person helping you is just there to do their job and move on, but Sebastian truly made me feel like he cared about helping me find the right mattress and genuinely enjoyed what he does.
Thanks to his guidance, I ended up with a mattress that I absolutely love. I highly recommend asking for him if you visit City Mattress!
