Within the first month of me moving into my new home I had noticed a leak in one of the bathrooms coming out through the tiles. I notidied the builder, he did nothing about it but try to blame it on me by not closing the shower door properly. So nothing was done about it, we avoided taking our showers in that washroom. A month and a half later that leak created huge damage in my hard wood floors, also causing mold in the floor and on my walls. When I called the builder again to fix this problem, he said he couldn't do anything about it and it's my problem to fix it if I want it fixed. The cause of the problem ended up being from poor plumbing to the bathtub. The copper was not welded properly. I ended up having to rip the walls out in the washroom, take apart all the floors in the washroom and in my kids bedroom because the damage had gone that far. This problem could have been solved imediatly if the builder had came and fixed this problem when I had first called him. This all happened within a couple of months of me moving into a brand new built house. Now this problem ended up costing me 7000 dollars and my daughter hasn't been able to enjoy her new bedroom she has to stay in our bedroom and we haven't been able to use the bathroom for over 2 months now.
