TRAVELER BEWARE! We arrived Friday July 11. I had pre-booked and paid for through Hotels.com. When I arrived the front desk said I see it’s pre-paid they just need a card to hold $50 for incidentals for my husband and I. (No children) She said it will go back on my card in a day or 2. When I saw my bank statement. They actually put a charge for $114.98! (Not the $50 she told me when I checked in) So I called and the lady said if it’s not back on my card by Wednesday to call and the manager will send a letter to give the bank that it was just an authorization. So I called today, Wednesday and the manager is OFF for 2 days! So why did she tell me to call back Wednesday?? Then I get re-routed to Ms. Houston’s voicemail because she is over the manager. Left my name, number & details. No call back! I am a former Manager of Hilton hotels and I know how authorizations work and depends on your bank, yada, yada. I also know that the front desk was poorly trained to tell me a $50 hold turns out to be $114.98. That the manager asked for me to call back Wednesday knowing she would be off work then. It’s been 6 days and I haven’t been contacted back.

Great hotel and arcade with so many things to do such as the courts and mini bowling, we are regulars there and love it and the staff. My only complaint is the extremely rude front desk staff for the hotel named Abby and marketing manager named Ed. They are both highly unprofessional and aggressive.

The restaurant was able to make our trip very memorable visiting from Missouri by way of Texas. Chicken lips and fries where delicious. Our server/waitress Alyssa had excellent customer service and charismatic. The casino was enjoyable offered slots, digital games, table games. This was my first time gambling so it was a fun experience. I would recommend and would return.

When I checked out FunCity it was for Huck’s Harbor. No where in the booking did it state it was closed. Booking was for my son’s 7th b-day. Even called in to confirm everything was open after I’d seen something about a minor fire. Was reassured everything was good. My confirmation even stated Hours for Huck and everything else on-site. Sadly upon arrival I find out it’s not open. They only have the tiny indoor pool. When I asked about additional credits to the arcade or something was told nothing could be done… Asked about food credit for one of the restaurants and again nothing. Told I could get a refund with no fees if I decided to leave! Great! Anyone traveling with 3 small children knows that’s not gonna be very pleasant. Not to mention the out dated emails. One talks about 2025 operations and the other is or was for 2024. Seems this place is going down hill from what I remember!

I will never patronize this establishment again after a horrible and unwelcoming experience. Our visit was marred by a complete lack of accommodation for my child with autism. When we initially confronted the hotel staff about these needs, they were not accommodating and instead just handed us wristbands for the Velocity play area to dismiss us.The situation only worsened at Velocity. The staff there were incredibly rude and dismissive. They refused to help and even claimed our wristbands were invalid. It wasn't until we spoke with a manager—who was the only understanding person we encountered—that we were finally given a card for entry. The issues extended to the outdoor play area as well. The resort appears severely understaffed, and the employees we did encounter seemed agitated, tired, and openly rude. We had to wait for long periods just to get basic assistance. To make matters worse, we felt a distinct sense of prejudice during our stay.A "fun city" should be welcoming to all families, but this resort failed on every level. If you are looking for a staff that is trained in basic hospitality or disability awareness, look elsewhere.I will never patronize this establishment again after a horrible and unwelcoming experience.
