Blair was referred to us for a litigation matter when we were having a lot of trouble with the opposition lawyer bulldozing the technical attorney we hired, with us not getting any progress in what we thought was fair, and with feeling lost and defeated in the legal system. With Blair's strategy, we ended up with an outcome that another very experienced lawyer thought wasn't possible.

Blair always provided his thoughts on potential scenarios and their outcomes so we know what our choices were. He always respected our decisions even when he might not have agreed. Along with Blair's coveted logical analyses and advice, we also highly valued his ability to listen and provide us with choices. Whenever we made a decision, we felt that we were prepared for the possible outcome and it wouldn't come as a surprise, a feeling we didn't have prior to engaging Blair.

Blair also thinks very quickly on his feet and is able to read the room during the trial process. There were times when we saw that the outcome would have been different had he not jumped in to explain or note nuances from our case to the judge.

He made us laugh so many times in an incredibly stressful situation, and while we are glad the trial is over, we will miss seeing him regularly.

If you’re looking for a lawyer who is both thoughtful and tough, Blair Russ is an excellent choice. He doesn’t “candy coat” things—he explains your options clearly and directly.
