I have not been a patient at the Dr Dorothy Ley Hospice, but I just wanted to say that Dr. Ley saved my life when I was 15 years old. I had Stage 3 Hodgkins Disease and was given 6 months to live. Today I am 73 years old and I will never forget Dr. Ley and the wonderful care and treatment I received from Dr Ley at the Toronto Western Hospital.
Once I found out Dr Ley had passed away, I persevered until I was able to find out where she was buried, and I visited her grave site and shed a few tears!
I will always remember Dr Ley and her infectious SMILE....and be forever grateful to her for saving my life.
Dr. Dorothy Ley....REST IN PEACE!!
