Doctors and nurses were very nice. The day was going just fine until a volunteer kicked me out of the waiting room (that I had to stay in) because I had a coffee. We had been there for 6 hours, what is the big deal?

i went there after being in a serious car accident. i had cracked ribs, and a concussion. i had about a 4 hour wait, which was commonplace, if not above average, for a winnipeg hospital..... seemed under staffed, and i realize they were busy, but the temperment of some of the hospital staff was way beyond unprofessional. not toward myself at all, but the way i saw some of the elderly patients there treated was unbelieveable.... they get alot of rubbies in there so be prepared for a long wait, and better dress nice or you'll be treated like a homeless junkie..... don't expect any intellegent questions you might have to be answered, beyond a vague diagnosis. the doctor i saw was at least cordial, dispite seemeing very overworked
