My goal is for the patient to feel that they are part of the team of care providers rather than outside it.I focus on lifestyle interventions to control chronic disease, specifically pulmonary rehabilitation, a validated intervention that improves health care outcomes and quality of life in patients with lung disease.But I also recognize that external stressors can worsen disease control.
