Went in to get a toy for my dogs birthday and some goldfish. There were not many customers in the store, so figured I could get in and out rather quickly. Found the dog toy, which was the easy part. Stood over in the fish section for 10 minutes looking for someone walking around that could help me. A younger girl pushing a cart asked if I needed help and I told her I wanted to get some goldfish. She said that she would get the person for that department to help me. I wanted for another 20 minutes for help and received none. I went and paid for the dog toy and left after waiting 30 minutes in total waiting to be helped

Hayden was so helpful this morning - I am 34 weeks pregnant and had 3 giant bags of cat litter. He offered for me to drive up to the front and said that he would be happy to load them for me, which he did with a smile! 😊

Considerate and kind workers can be hard to come by these days, so was very grateful to experience this today! Will most certainly be back!

Went for three things. Got one substitute for what I wanted.
The frozen fish food I normally purchase was out of stock. Found a substitute that hopefully will work.

The activated charcoal for aquarium filter I usually buy was out of stock. Clerk was quite helpful in finding where it should have been to verify it was out of stock. Found cheaper on Amazon.

Store has apparently chosen to not stock leather dog collars, so another Amazon purchase.

I bought a large bag of Purina dog food from Petco and we discovered it’s infested with worms! Yuck!

There’s evidently no way to return it. I can get a store credit - maybe, after I lug the entire 18 lb bag to their store.

I bought online and there’s no way to get support. Just an idiotic bot that takes me in circles…

Buy stuff from a local shop!

Melinda in Edwardsville was the most helpful amazing worker I have ever encountered at a pet store! I took my daughter to get a hamster which we knew nothing about and she was so helpful to get us everything we needed and how to care die the sweet girl we brought home. She took the time to show us options and explain what was needed and then further options of things we could get for her. She was so sweet and spoke to my daughter and myself so kindly. Our little hamster is all set up and home and I just was thankful we had Melinda to help us on Sunday!
