Dr. Baran enjoys getting to know the whole person and truly understanding what is causing or contributing to a specific illness. She believes building long-lasting relationships with her patients and their families is both central to her approach and a great privilege of being a physician. Prior to joining Stamford Health, Dr. Baran was a member of faculty at Mount Sinai Beth Israel in New York City and Assistant Professor at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where she taught residents and medical students and provided primary care to a diverse and complex panel of patients.
