Following his training, he continued to practice clinically and serve as teaching faculty at Stanford. Dr. Wellisch takes pride in educating and mentoring his medical students, residents and fellows. He also conducted research in Molecular Neuroscience as well as on the “patient experience.” He has published numerous articles and medical reviews and has been invited to serve as guest reviewer for various medical specialty journals. After returning home to the East Coast with his wife and three children, Dr. Wellisch has set out to establish a state-of-the-art multidisciplinary pain center at Stamford Health to serve our community and beyond.
