A friend actually made the reservations for me to stay at the Comfort Inn Winnipeg. I was going to be there for quite awhile on business and was working with a pretty tight budget.

I have to say I had my doubts, as I am used to staying in more upscale hotels, however this was an excellent choice. The room or suite was perfect and very comfortable.
It was very convienent for meetings since it is located near downtown and right on the Pembina highway.

The food in the restaraunt, though not 5 star quality was good and more than acceptable. The dining room also worked well in the mid-morning and mid-afternoon as a quite place to work as well.

Since I had a lot of computer work to do online, it was great that they had very good WI-FI for the quests.

The staff was courteous and helpful.

All in all this was an excellent choice, convienent, affordable, comfortable. If I need to be in Winnepeg again, I will certainly stay at Comfort Inn - Mainstay Suites Winnipeg

Recently i had a training session in Winnipeg where i needed a long stay suite not far from downtown Winnipeg
This hotel worked out fine
It was close to downtown on the major Pembina Highway route but in a safe residential area
It worked out well
On top of that the restaurant was quite in the afternoon and Vlad let us work on a table in the corner area no trouble
I needed a spare laptop and the hotel had a spiffy real IBM that they loaned us for a couple of days no trouble
Good reliable fast wi fi wireless internet as well

While on a trip to visit some relatives and friends in Winnepeg, my wife and I had the pleasure of staying at the Quality Inn Winnipeg Suites. The room was clean, fresh and very confortable.

The staff was very courteous and helpful. They were very helpful in recommending some of the sights in the area. With excellent recommendations of restaraunts near by that were affordable and had excellent meals.

If you are going to be staying in the Winnipeg area, and don't want to or can't stay with friends or family we highly recommend Quality Inn Winnipeg Suites. You will be glad you did.
