I rented a room for 2 weeks from dave who is a classic slum lord.I saw that it was a run down place with mostly bums living in it but i thought it would be cheap to stay for a month or so. I was told by the manager of this motel that i could rent a room for 450 a month or 150 a week. I had only 300 on me so i decided to pay than for 2 weeks. Later that day i paid the manager another 150 and said i would stay for a month getting a week free. Than the owner dave had the manager come back and say that i could only pay bi-weekly and gave me 150 back. After talking to the other residents i realized they were all paying 450 and that this slum was trying to ripe me off. The sign by the entrance saying you can only rent by the day or by the week made me very angry. After a week of staying there i left because the living conditions were below any normal persons standards. The manager than said he would talk to the owner and refund my money for the remaining week. Guess what later that day the owner said because i paid for 2 weeks that he cant refund my money.slum .i am currently taking him to small claims court. This building should be condemned
