It was a pleasure to stay in maples inn. Stayed for four months. The apartment was clean, the bed was comfortable and the owners were friendly. We would recommend it and we are coming back again next year.

This place is disgusting. It says no smoking however the walls are full of nicotine. The place stinks of smoke. Bugs in the shower. The place is disgusting. The halls and stairwells are not heated. The beds are gross. We stayed in sleeping bags. We didn't want to risk bed bugs. We didn't see any but you never know. Mold around the heater and in the bathroom. Dusty everywhere. Shower head leaks. Complete disgust. They make you sign a form before they show you however it's not a lease agreement. We are fighting for our money back. We checked out after one night. Originally planned on a whole month as we are here for school. I would recommend staying as far away as possible. Other reviews you see are accurate. No matter how old. Sickening. I don't know how they get away with it. Karl seems like a decent guy. Doesn't excuse the condition of the place.

I have lived at The Maples Inn II about 3 times in the past 10 years, while on work assignments in Guelph. The suites are very pleasant and simple. It is a very quiet building. The staff are courteous and conscientious. Any concerns were addressed quickly. It is family owned by a very nice family, The Probst's. Karl Probst was the Manager at the time and he is very pleasant and always up for some intelligent conversation. I would definitely live there again. I work in Toronto now and I wish they would open up a Maples Inn III. Bob Pero, Toronto
