I am tempted to never return to MUSC again after seeing her once and having here office put me through an ongoing billing nightmare where enough items have been miscoded to run up a completely unreasonable bill on an entirely routine visit. The entire office has been completely unhelpful.

Great doctor that listens to you. When you see her, she's prepared. I have 4 other doctors besides Dr Stem, when I talked to her recently for was informed on the other doctors' notes and discussed them with me. Willing to help you with other treatments and providers (i.e. dentist, eye doctor, etc).

Dr. Stem is great! She treats my kids as well as me. She is kind and patient with my kids and has been great for us. Highly recommend her.

Dr. Stem is great! I’ve never felt comfortable with a dr so fast. She addresses my concerns and listens. Her bedside manner is great and gives ample reasoning behind her opinions and diagnoses.

Dr. Leah Stem treated me at MUSC for 5 days. On day 3, I got an infection where my IV was placed. When Dr. Stem was informed she told me that I was already on an oral antibioc, so the infection should start to heal. Two days later Dr. Stem was informed that the infection was spreading in my arm to my elbow and hot to touch. Dr. Stem still released me on Dec 22nd at 7am and by 6pm that night I was rushed back to the ER but went to Roper ER. The doctors at Roper were stunned that I was released, even more so after reading all the notes from MUSC Dr. Stem. I am still being treated at Roper for a serious case of celiatis in my arm.
PLEASE LISTEN MORE TO YOUR PATIENTS AND IMPROVE YOUR BED SIDE MANOR!!
