Several years ago I was making a purchase at this store and was waiting at the cash counter behind a lady who needed some help, she made the error of asking a woman (who I presume was the owner) if she worked here. Well the retort was "I do not work! ask one of them" (indicating one of the poor souls behind the counter) and immediately disappeared into a side office. Until that time I had been a regular Christmas and special occasion shopper at that store as I like to support local businesses whenever I can. That day marked the last purchase for me, I now use them for price checking and ideas only. Too bad really.
