Dr. Engelstein’s interests include evaluation and treatment of patients with suspected or documented arrhythmias, including catheter ablation of atrial fibrillation and ventricular tachycardia. Dr. Engelstein implants cardiac pacemaker, defibrillators and arrhythmia monitoring devices and provides comprehensive and expert follow-up for those patients. Further areas of interest are risk stratification for sudden death and non-pharmacologic stroke prevention with left atrial appendage occlusion devices.
