The Countertops Contractors Ranking team is proud to recognize Magic Stone as one of the leading companies in the United States in the 2024–2025 national ranking of stone countertop fabricators and installers.
According to our evaluation, the company earned the #4 position in Connecticut and the #1 position in Stamford, demonstrating a strong presence in its regional market.
During our mystery-shopper research, Magic Stone demonstrated strong customer service and professional consultations. While the quote turnaround time was rated as average, the company offers a wide selection of granite, quartz, and marble, giving homeowners flexibility when choosing materials for their projects.
In terms of pricing, we rate Magic Stone as Low compared to other top-performing companies in the region. The company requires a 50% upfront payment (standard for the industry) and typically completes fabrication in about 7 days, which we consider very fast and competitive.
Overall, in the opinion of the Countertops Contractors Ranking team, Magic Stone is a reliable and trustworthy choice for homeowners seeking quality stone countertop fabrication and installation services in Connecticut and beyond.
Sincerely,
The Countertops Contractors Team

I would not use again and would not recommend to others. I was provided no mapping of how our slab would be cut or any type of drawings for approval which now means we have seams that we did not know we would have. This also gave me no opportunity to determine which parts of the slab were used where. I did provide them with fully detailed and dimensioned cabinet drawings. They showed up 2 hours late to do our template (with no communication that they would be late) and rushed thru the template with no communication during the process. The end product has inconsistent overhangs with the cabinets. I called them after they made the template asking for an extra 1/8" at our range recognizing that the gap would be large. They said ok, but that didn't happen and we have large, inconsistent (uneven) gaps between our range and countertop. I asked for the scraps of our slab and was told there were none. I was charged an additional $500 last minute for something that I had previously communicated that we wanted. Overall, I felt the process was poorly communicated, lacked attention to detail, and resulted in a somewhat sloppy product. Not what you would expect when spending $16k.

Magic Stone was one of the easiest and best companies I’ve ever worked with. As a manager of a Painting company myself, I know the importance of communication and attention to detail, which is exactly what Chris provided for us. I am so happy with the result! I HIGHLY recommend this company for any countertop installation

Ordered a Vanity top for new sink that i was installing in my bar.
Dropped off sink and picked up new top with the sink installed and holes drilled for faucets in three days and installed it and used it for a party on the 5 day.
Great service and price and a very nice studio to pick your materials

Thank you,

David Baker
