Came here thinking it was a gay bar, stayed for the steak and potatoes! Great food, friendly staff, they complimented my chaps and were really sweet!

Ordered a Togo order of 3 meals. They forgot one of my meals- the most important one, my kids meal.
Went it to get it made… no issues there but what they gave me was not up to their dine in standards. At least the manager at Wilsonville would have never allowed it to go to a customer (that’s the level a customer service I’m use to as I am a regular there). This location, not so much. Won’t be back. My daughter wouldn’t eat her pancake as a big scoop of sprinkles was places all in the middle of it. Please don’t do this again to a child’s meal. Gently sprinkle… like usual. Thank you

We went out for an early mother's day. Our mom picked Black Bear. We enjoyed the trip tip, salad, mashed potatoes and seasonal veggies. Plus we had to save room for dessert. Coconut cream pie and bread pudding. The staff was wonderful they made sure we got our drinks right away and came around fairly often to make sure we had everything we needed.

Honestly, Black Bear Diner surprised me in the best way. Stopped in on a busy Sunday morning and even with the crowd, I was able to grab a counter seat right away (solo diner win 😎). I had the chicken fried steak, and it was pretty damn tasty…well seasoned across the board, generous portion, and definitely hit the spot. My server was friendly, attentive, and kept everything running smoothly despite how busy it was. For a chain restaurant, I came in with moderate expectations and left genuinely impressed. Solid breakfast, solid service, and absolutely worth another visit.

Scrolling through the upside app, I found Black Bear and decided to give it a try. The staff were very attentive, also checking our coffee and our waters which was really great. My boyfriend's bacon mac and cheese was absolutely delicious... However my Biscuit and Gravy wasn't worth writing home about. The biscuits are HUGE, I will give it that, however there was barely any gravy and some of it was COLD! The gravy was luke warm at best with cold spots. Next time will definitely try something else, hopefully not cold.
