That was a truly awful experience. The ceiling of my basement is leaking one night. It happened when my roommate was showering… so I told everyone to stop using that bathroom, which was directly above the leaking part of the basement. I call this company to come take a look. I randomly picked it from the google’s plumber near me. First they say.. they will come Monday… somewhere between 11-1pm… okay… by 1:15, no one came… so I called the company again and they said the person is delayed and request if it’s okay to moved it to 4pm… then they called back and say someone can come earlier… so I got a different guy showing up at 2:45pm…
So time aside… this guys who shows up… smelled extremely strongly of tabacoo smoke. I’m not sure if he smoke a joint before he ring my door bell or something… but I don’t smoke.. and just the smell from him was giving me a headache…

That aside, we started looked at my leaking ceiling… which was no longer leaking.. I thought originally it was because the shower was running at the time of the leak.. but now, even when the shower on… the leak isn’t happening. He explain that he needs to take out the ceiling drywall to figure out where the leak is. Which is fine. But before he did, I asked him how much this would cost… I think his English isn’t great, cause he seems to have trouble understanding me… he said he has no idea the cost since he doesn’t know the problem..z.. which wasn’t what I was asking… but okay..
so he took a saw to my ceiling.. ripped out a bunch of it… he said he would help me move my stuff out from understand the ceiling but he didn’t… as I tried to move some shoes last minute.. he already started working and didn’t hear me and got deride over me…. Afterall that.. we still could not get the leak to happened again. He said that I should wait until someone is showering to identify the leak before leaving… that’s it…
Oh, he billed me for $125… which was what I was originally asking him about for the cost…
So for $125, I have a large hole in my basement ceiling still, no idea where the leak is coming from…. He didn’t even clean up any of the debris… like he could have at least clean up the debris if he was going to charge me $125. I can cut the hole in the how ceiling too!
Definitely would not hire… even if I found out what cause the leak, I’ll just go to someone else.
There is nothing we can do if we can’t get the leak to re-occur… I just finish he would clean up the mess if he was planning on charging me a cost I was not informed of.

Our company boiler had an ignition failure, and we called this company for repairs. The technician said the issue was fixed, and we paid $900 for the service. The very next day, the boiler tripped again.

When I called for them to return, the technician came back and then claimed the problem was a valve—something that was never addressed or mentioned during the first visit. When I asked why this wasn’t diagnosed or repaired initially, there was no clear answer. Instead, we were told we would have to pay again for parts and service.

After already spending a significant amount of money, this felt unfair and unprofessional. Poor diagnosis, repeat failure, and trying to charge again for an unresolved issue is unacceptable. Beware before using this company.

I was very happy to discover Advanced Plumbing Professionals on the internet. We had an apparent water leak and consulted them to help diagnose the issue. The technician, Julian, was very responsive and went through the entire house with us. Eventually, we discovered some rusted pipes in the basement. It was also determined that we required a new water heater, as ours was past it's recommended life span. It turned out to be an emergency job and they got us in quickly. We even received discounts as new customers. Julian was very efficient and left his working space in impeccable condition. I will definitely be using them for our plumbing needs in the future.

Their constant communication during the repair process was impressive, Rachel answered all of my questions and made the entire operation seamless. Called on Tuesday afternoon and was immediately scheduled for Wednesday afternoon.
Sam showed as scheduled after getting a text he was on the way. My pool heater was not working. He quickly diagnosed my problem, replaced the part with ease and had me up and running in no time. I had an excellent experience and highly recommend them. Absolutely professional, courteous and reasonably priced. 100% positive experience!!!
