Dr. Gordon completed his medical school training at The University of Ottawa in Ontario, Canada, followed by his surgical residency and chief resident year at the Ottawa Hospital. He then completed his fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic in Toronto, Canada. He specializes in minimally-invasive robotic surgery and is a proud member of Tampa Bay Surgical Group, LLC. Dr. Gordon is on staff at Morton Plant Hospital, Mease Countryside Hospital, Mease Dunedin Hospital, and Largo Medical Center. He is involved in the residency teaching program at Largo Medical Center, educating future surgeons. As a general, laparoscopic, and bariatric surgeon, Dr. Gordon treats conditions and performs procedures related to general and bariatric surgery, including sleeve gastrectomy, gastric bypass, gastric balloon placement, anti-reflux and hiatal hernia surgery (including LINX), gallbladder removal, appendectomy, hernia repairs, bowel and colon surgeries, hemorrhoidectomy, breast cancer surgery, skin lesion surgery, colonoscopy, and EGD.
